He is survived by : his wife Sarah Louise Rainey of Lynchburg; his children, Mike Rainey (Sherry) of Lynchburg and Joy Perry (Brent) of Estill Springs; his siblings, Eugene Rainey (Erma) of Tullahoma, Bertha Baker of Lynchburg, Betty Hall (James) of Manchester and Linda Dye (Alex) of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Meagan Smith (Zach), Sara Leathers (Bryce), Kelsie Qualls (Todd), Rebecca Perry (Tyler Strope), Mika Rainey (Jay Phillips) and Hunter Perry (Jadyn Robinson); and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Qualls, Avah Smith, Addison Leathers and Kaylee Qualls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
