He is survived by: his wife Carolynne Rouleau-Pettit; his children, Mark Pettit, Kenneth "Ken" Richard Pettit (Tina), Kathy Wingert (Allen), Cherlynne Franklin (Lloyd) and Stacy Jefferies; his brother Kenneth Pettit (Paula); and his grandchildren, Dustin Wingert (Danielle), James Montero (Mackenzie), Deena Oliphant, Jeramy Montero, Jauna-Lai Martin, Shauna Ruthruff (Shane), Charles Montero (Clair), Patrick Elkins, Aaron Pettit, Kayla Swatek (Ben), Sharon Alyssa Besse and Maverick Swatek. He is also survived by thirty one great grandchildren.
