With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Haskel Merlin Harper (Manchester, Tennessee), born in Fulton, Mississippi, who passed away on November 23, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnny Harper and Modean Harper; his daughter Rhonda Gail; his stepson Tim Buckner (Joanna); and his brother Robert Harper.

He is survived by : his children, Johnny Harper (Vickie), Clint Harper (Kim), Sandra South (Ervin), Rhonda Harper, Victoria David (Jeremy) and Lisa Crim (Ronnie); his stepson Steve Walden; his siblings, Johnny Harper, Ben Harper (Agnes) and Wanda Fowler; and his grandchildren, Timothy South, Michael South, John Harper, Nicole Austin, Kris Frye, Brooke Powers, Daneile Jeffery, Marilyn Baker, Cliff Baker, Lindsey Crim, Amanda Harper, Audrae Harper, Derek Harper, Jason Buckner, Charles Buckner, Elizabeth Sheehan, Courtney Walden, Jonas Buckner and Jacob Buckner. He is also survived by 34 great grandchildren; and seven great – great grandchildren.
