He was predeceased by : his father James Cruze; his children, Crystal Harmon, Nikki Cruze and Jon Jon Cruze; and his brother-in-law Carl Butler (Tommy Ridings).

He is survived by : his children, Angie Campbell (Chuck), April Spurgeon, James Loveday, Rachel Walden, Andrew Loveday (Amanda), Kandice Cruze and Jeremy Teffeteller; his sister Martha "Mae" Ridings; and his nephew Johnny Ridings (Tammy).
