As Anita departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Anita. Though Anita may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Pearson and Blanche Pearson. She is survived by: her husband Al Debuty; her sons, Jeremy T. Flynn (Melissa), Adam S. Debuty (Jill) and Brian Debuty (Rhoda); her grandchildren, Logan G. Flynn (Nicholette), Zachary T. Flynn, Jake Debuty and Alex Debuty; and her niece Jama Stover. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dotson Funeral Home & Cremation (4838 Wildwood Rd, Maryville, TN 37804). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery (520 Hopewell Rd, Maryville, TN 37801).
