She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph McDonald and Aileen McDonald; her husband James Houston McKinney; and her siblings, Edwin, Dale McDonald and Maxine Russell.

She is survived by: her children, Lauren McKinney Gardner of Maryville and James Cole; her daughter-in-law Debbie McKinney of Maryville; her grandson Liam Gardner; her sister Linda; her brother-in-law Gordon Wade of Seymour; and her close friend Lisa Thomason of Maryville.
