She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Helton; her parents, Bennie King and Julius King; her siblings, Marion Keller, Lillian King, Lola Bodle, Evelyn Clampet, Johnny King Sr. and Willard King; her grandchildren, Donnie Gurley and Julie Helton Tyler; and her granddaughter-in-law Altum Lane.
She is survived by: her brothers, William King and Jack King; her daughters, Betty Gurley (Viney), Kathy Cates (Carroll) and Lora Crowe (Michael); and her grandchildren, Joshua Cates, Gavin Kirby (Nikki Newman) and Alli-Grace Gilstrap (Cijay Garner). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; seven great- great grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
