With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel Allen Wilson (Maryville, Tennessee), who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen Ross "Chigger" Wilson and JoAnn Coatney Wilson; his grandparents, Joe, Katherine Coatney, Clay and Cleo Wilson; and his close friends, Chris Cable and Ron Richardson.

He is survived by : his significant other Carol Blankenship Wilson; his daughter Megan Hyatt (Christian); his parents-in-law, Harry T. and Jane J. Blankenship; his sister-in-law Kerri Blankenship Ward (Mark); his friends, R. L., Donna Dowdy, Raymond, Pat Vandaveer, Bryan White, Johnny Hembree and Roy Shields; and his cousin Cindy Coatney.
