It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Sue Cardin of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Sue Cardin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Cardin; her granddaughter Graylin Cardin; her parents, J. C. Ray and Julia Ray; and her brother Jim Ray.
She is survived by: her sons, Drew Cardin (Heather) and Erik Cardin (Carrie); her granddaughters, Caidyn and Kennedy Cardin; her sister Edna Cooper (Dennis); her nephew Justin Ray (Sarah); her sister-in-law Susie Ray; and her pet Wrigley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Smith Trinity Chapel (1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church (women's group).
