We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 93, Peggy Sue Norton of Maryville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Peggy find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband John R. L Norton; and her siblings, Kay Stahli, Hazel Pichon and Kenneth D. Williams. She is survived by: her children, John, Alhaja Norton, Richard Lee Norton, April T. Norton and Valeri Norton; her granddaughter Katie Elizabeth Norton; and her sister Dot Punch.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith Trinity Chapel (1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorials Gardens.
