He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Joseph Golden, Sr. and Dorothy Golden; and his grandmother Camilla Daughtrey. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Richard, Brandi and Amanda; his grandchildren, Nathan, Alyssia, Yuki, Nicholas, Evelyn, Melanee and Rebecca; and his siblings, Katie, Patsy, Joe, Stormy, Ellefern, Tina, Dora, Owen, Albert and Jenny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
