He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Byrd and Ferris Byrd (Russell); and his grandparents, Bill and Lily Russell. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Karen Poole (Johnny) and Jeff Byrd (Denise); his grandchildren, Brad Boring (Chara) and Brandi Welch (Josh); his brothers, Lloyd Byrd (Athalene) of Maryville, Steve Byrd (Rhoda) of Maryville and Cledith Byrd of Maryville; and his close friends, Bob Parrish and Bill Brewer.
