It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vanessa Dawn Lane (Maryville, Tennessee), who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rick Whitener and Harldene Wilburn; and her grandparents, Charles, Mary Whitener, Harold and Arzella Goddard.

She is survived by : her uncle Fred Waltermyer; her children, Daniel Willis and Monique Parks; her siblings, Vickie Tackett and Vincent Whitener; her stepfather Don Wilburn; and her stepsiblings, Jeff Wilburn and Donna Shedd. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Providence Primitive Baptist (2633 6 Mile Rd, Maryville, TN 37803).
