Catherine Vickie Mahaven Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Vickie Mahaven of Mascot, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Messer and Mary Ruth Cole Messer; her brothers, R. B. Messer, D. L. Messer and Adron Messer; her nephews, Roy Messer, Shane Messer and Mark Messer; and her former husband George Mahaven.
She is survived by: her son Joseph "Joe" Mahaven; her sister Carolyn Stanifer; her granddaughter Chloe Mahaven; her brother Wayne Messer; her sister-in-law Donna Messer; her nieces and nephews, Mary Johnson, Danta Hurst, Britany Messer, Stephanie Hensley, Steven Messer and Michael Messer; and her sister-in-law Donna Boehmer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:45 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Roseberry Cemetery (2920 Roseberry Rd, Mascot, TN 37806).
