He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Joseph "Joe" Rush and Shirley Arnold; and his great-grandparent Yvonne McPhetridge. He is survived by : his parents, Travis and Lacey Rush; his grandmother Terri Rush (Nena); his great-grandparent Bloma Rush; his siblings, Kayla Switzer (Dustin), Laney Rush, Alexia Helton (Jacob), Maylee Brogan, Gracie Webb (Caleb), Crystal Smith, Nathanial Linderman, Bradley Webb and Michael Knight; his niece Khloe (Kenzie Switzer); his nephews, Daren Helton and Cayson; and his uncle Jordan Collins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant View Cemetery (310 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807).
