She was predeceased by: her parents, J. P. Brooks and Christine Brooks; and her sister Linda Morgan. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Garner; her daughters, Beth McKinney, Lisa Collins and Jennifer Hester (Chase); her grandchildren, Adam Carter, Casey Garner, Darren Collins (Kelley), Summer Collins, Savannah Collins, Sara Beth Davis, Billy Davis, Chasity Scoggins (Brad) and Shannon Gates (Tanner); her siblings, William Brooks, Mabel Brackett, Betty Jones and Regina Smith; and her sister-in-law Lois Myers.
