He was predeceased by: his parents, R. W. Young and Jessie Spencer Grantham; and his sister Betty Young. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Nixon Young of McKenzie; his sons, Jason Young (Sabrina) of Medina and Andy Young (Audra) of Hernando, MS; his sister Brenda "Paulette" Jones of Memphis; and his grandchildren, Hailey, Elena, Sarah Grace and Lydia.
