He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Beers and Mary Ellen Lett Beers; his wife Lossie Taylor Beers; and his siblings, Helen, Kate, Clara, Isabelle, Jim and Earl.
He is survived by: his niece Mary Scott (Paul) of Baxter; and his close friends, William and Robin Thomas of McKenzie.
