It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Caperton (McKenzie, Tennessee), born in Vardaman, Mississippi, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Donaldson and Jessie Kate Terry Caperton; his wife Julia Shannon McMillin; his children, Julie Knight (Tim), Don Caperton and Joe Caperton (Amanda); his grandchildren, Maggie Clarke (Lewis), Lucy Hale, Kirby Knight, Jessie Caperton, Davis Caperton, Cole Caperton and Grace Caperton; his great grandchildren, Glenys Clarke and Lula Clarke; and his sisters, Grace Sowell (Jim) and Diane Barefoot (Terrell).
The family requests that any memoriam go to The American Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's Association, or Camden Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
