He was predeceased by: his parents, Ott McDearmon and Onnie Suiter McDearmon; his wife Joyce Ann McKinnie McDearmon; and his siblings, Nellie Milton, Katherine Sams, Ann Alexander, Oberlin York, C. L. McDearmon and Marshall McDearmon.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane; his son-in-law Mike Conley of Trezevant, TN; his brother Duell McDearmon of McKenzie; and his grandchildren, James Derek Fields (Lauren), Heather Stone (Jeremy), Bethany Conley and Kristin Conley. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
