He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bean and Lois Vice Bean; his son Lowell Bean; and his brother Patrick Bean (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mouser Bean of McKenzie; his children, Leslie Richter (Steve) of Munfordville, KY, Rev. Jason Mikel (Suzanne) of Nolensville, TN and Rev. Leo Chang of Nolensville; his sister-in-law Becky Bean of Naples; his grandsons, Phillip Mikel (Gabby Frisse), Wesley Mikel, John Shepard (Chelsey), Steven Shepard, Phil Richter (Lorena) and Brian Richter; and his great grandchildren, John Allan Shepard, Wyatt Shepard, Jaxon Richter and Olivia Richter.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
