He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Harrison and Ruby Jordan Nunnery of Virginia; and his siblings, Ruby McMullen of Virginia, James Harrison Nunnery, Paul William Nunnery and Jimmy Doyle Nunnery.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie Burkett Nunnery; his daughters, Fredea Kay Nunnery, Tammy Shanty Nunnery, Crystal Gail Nunnery, Shirley Wyatt and Christy Nunnery; his stepdaughter Ruthie Olds; his sons, Leonard Nunnery, Sr., Mark Nunnery and Billy Nunnery; his stepsons, Lilbern Henson, Michael Henson and Rodney Baker; and his siblings, Terry Wayne Nunnery, Bobby Earl Nunnery and Donna Jean Harvey. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
