She is survived by: her friend March; her son Dr. Thomas Knox Smith (Rhonda) of McKenzie; her daughter-in-law Dottie Smith of Chattanooga; her sister Carol Edmonds of Memphis; her grandchildren, Julie Ganz (Jamie), Mark Smith (Amy), Chuck Smith and John Smith (Allie); and her great grandchildren, Hadley Smith, Knox Ganz, Gemma Ganz and Findley Smith.
