He is survived by: his mother Juanita Evelyn Laws McCord; his wife Tammy Cook Haywood; his children, Caleb Haywood (Hannah) of McKenzie and Mary Katlin Haywood of Greenville, SC; his stepmother Nancy Haywood of Huntingdon; his siblings, Danny Haywood (Gail) of Huntingdon, Susan Parker (Joe) of Cedar Grove and Patrick Haywood (Sherry) of Huntingdon; his stepbrother Richard Gilbert of McKenzie; and his grandchildren, Autumn Haywood, Lina Haywood, Hayes Haywood, Lennon Haywood, Brooks Haywood, Coy Haywood and Noah Haywood.
In Lieu of Flowers the family has asked for memorials to be made to the Hope Lodge, Nashville or the First Baptist Church Children Wing.
