He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul and Mary Ezell Chesser Townsend. He is survived by: his sons, Justin Townsend of McKenzie, Paul Jacob Townsend of McKenzie and Chris Ray Townsend of Colorado; his sisters, Sue Townsend of McKenzie, Melinda Mayberry of McKenzie and Barbara Ann Franklin of McKenzie; and his grandchildren, Kali Townsend, Maya Townsend and Troy Townsend.
