He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Joseph and Wynona Elizabeth Verdell Lawrence; and his siblings, Charlene Goodrich, Elizabeth Sims, Evangeline Hilliard Worrell, Jamie Lawrence, Vernon and Ronnie "Red" Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Marie Carter Lawrence; his sons, Benjie Lawrence (Nicole) and Jonathan Lawrence (Jeannine); his grandchildren, Morgan Hight (Cordon), Jack Lawrence, Magnolia Lawrence, Owen Lawrence and Corrie Lawrence; and his great grandchild Colden Hight. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to McKenzie Library or The Rich Family Relay for Life team (Huntingdon).
