It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Irene Cox (McKenzie, Tennessee), born in Bemis, Tennessee, who passed away on February 22, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lapha Russell and Claris Wilson Russell; her husband Waylon Cox; and her siblings, Leola Taylor, Marie Simpson, Verdell Russell, Dempsy Russell and Bobby Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Central Refrigeration; her sons, David Cox of McKenzie and Mark Cox (Susan) of McKenzie; her sisters, Betty Anderson of McKenzie, Regina "Pete" Taylor of Nashville and Margie Pate of Bentonville, AR; her grandchildren, Derek Cox, Zack Cox (Morgan) and Leah Cox; and her great grandchildren, Kailey Cox, Lexie Cox, Payton Cox and Jensen Cox.
