He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Foster and Rozelle Claytor Foster; his brother Gene Foster; and his grandparents, Ben, Lena Claytor, Otis and Ruth Foster.

He is survived by: his wife Patty McKennie Foster of McKenzie; his children, Kathy Birdwell (Bobby), Lori Ferguson (Mike), Amy Jones (Darrell) and Ricky Foster (Lana); and his sister Sandra Foster (Gene) of McKenzie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
