With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Shirl Bain Griffith of McMinnville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Atnip and Annie Quilene Jones Bain; and her brother Randall Bain. She is survived by: her children, Veronica Stepien (Rick) of McMinnville, TN, Maranda Allen of Nashville, TN and John Thomas Clay Fults of Fort Myers, FL; her grandchildren, Lucas Jones Stepp, Emmy and Natalie Stepien; her brother Mark Bain of McMinnville, TN; her nephew Dylan Bain of McMinnville, TN; and her close friends, Steve Rice and Georgia Bain.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the High's Chapel (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Viola Valley Dogs.
