It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Lee Mayfield Sr. (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lucas Mayfield of Ecru, Mississippi. and Mattie Mayfield of Ecru, Mississippi.; and his brother Larry Mayfield. He is survived by : his daughter Laquitta Mayfield Hodges (Anthony); his goddaughter Angelica Rucker; his sons, Bernard Mayfield, Jr. (Cleo), Damon Thomas of Texas, Marceo McCulley, Maceo Mayfield (Katrina), Corey Mayfield and Justin Mayfield; and his siblings, Ella Mayfield Hamlett (Freddie), Patricia Mayfield Lee, Robert Herron (Joyce), Luther Mayfield and Donnie Mayfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
