He was predeceased by: his son Billy Baxter; his parents, Charlie Eaves and Delia Eaves; and his siblings, Kenneth Eaves and Betty Eaves Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Eaves; his son Chuck Eaves (Mary); his brother Tommy Eaves; his grandchildren, Chris Eaves and Courtney Eaves; and his great grandchild Savannah Eaves.

In lieu of flowers all memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
