It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Thomas Schaffler of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leopold Schaffler, Sr. and Ida Mae Robinson Schaffler; his siblings, Rosemary Ozanne and John L. Schaffler, Jr.; his siblings' child Kelly Ann Schaffler; and the mother of his children Barbara Cantrell McAlpin.
He is survived by: his children, Bitsy Quinn (Danny), Shawn Demos (Chris), Chuck of Memphis, Jack Schaffler of Memphis and Mimi Foster of Mobile, Alabama.; and his grandchildren, Emily Morton (Jesse), Patrick Quinn, Brian Quinn (Millie), Ben Powell, Elisha Pate, Gracey Foster and Joshua Foster. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to The Kelly Schaffler Scholarship at Saint Agnes Academy, Christian Brothers High School, Madonna Learning Center, or the Monsignor Paul W. Clunan Endowment Fund at St. Louis Catholic Church.
