He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith; his nieces, Sophie Smith of Memphis, Tennessee and Bentley Smith of Memphis, Tennessee; and his sisters-in-law, Ginger Smith of Memphis, Judith Smith of Savannah, Tennessee and Jackie Smith of Savannah, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
