He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward II and Minnie Wolfe (Tucker); and his sister Margaret Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Cathryn (Nelson); his children, Christopher, Phillip (Susan) and Sonja Wolfe (Mike Eddy); and his grandchildren, Breggin Lioce (Anthony), Brandon and Peyton Eddy.
