He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anna Miller; his son Dennis Patrick Miller; his parents, Frank Miller and Stella Miller; and his brother Phil Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Tina Allen, Eugene Miller Jr. and Robbin Miller; his grandchildren, Chuck Simmons Jr., Craig Simmons, Cody Simmons, Chelsey Lathem, Kelsey McCarty, Logan Cavalier and Luke Cavalier; and his brothers, Danny Miller and Gary Miller. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
