She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sisson, Sr. and Jewell Cook Sisson. She is survived by: her brother Charles "Bob" Sisson, Jr. (Ellen) of Tucson, Arizona; and her sibling's children, Russell Sisson (Lori) of Corbin, Kentucky and Karen Sisson England (Archie) of Mandeville, Louisiana. She is also survived by grand-nephew, three grand-nieces and their families and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.
