She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena M. Peters and Houston Peters; and her siblings, Joann Bryant, Betty Jean Moss and Houston Peters, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Cassandra Peters, Marilyn Walker, Davis Lee Peters and Clarence Calhoun, Jr.; and her siblings, Priscilla Peters, Lillian Peters, Barbara Peters, Fred Peters, Wee-Wee Peters, Raymond Peters and Jerome Peters. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
