It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Brown in Memphis, Tennessee, born in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jerry Brown and Betty Houston; her son Eugene Moore, Jr.; her sisters, Delois Ingle, Lula Baker and MaDean Moore Screen; and her close friend Jerry Pittman of Memphis, Tennessee.
She is survived by : her children, Jerry Brown (Akeyvia) of Memphis, Tennessee and Demetria Austin (Quinton) of Brinkley, Arkansas; her nieces, Carolyn Barnett of Memphis, Tennessee and Brindy Charles (Reginald) of Jackson, Tennessee; her son Willie L. Moore, Jr. (Shun) of Brinkley, Arkansas; and her aunts, Francis Houston of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Brenda Houston of Augusta, Arkansas and Nineteen. She is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of great- grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends.
