He is survived by: his son Jack; his parents, Alice Gooch Newton of Memphis and Douglas Newton (Robin) of Walden; his sister Kate of Cornelius, NC; his half-siblings, Nathan of Suitland, MD, Matthew, Whitney of Pittsburgh, PA and Mackenzie of Pittsburgh, PA; his aunt Meg Newton Aiken (Mike) of Lookout Mountain; his uncle Edward Albers Newton (Diane) of Collierville, TN; and also, Wendy Wells Newton, Polly, Eleanor and Molly.
