She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sanford and Ella Mae Atkinson; her husband Ed Pruitt; her son Allen Pruitt; and her siblings, Johnny, Horace Atkinson, Lee Slavens and Lula Shepard.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur (Linda Pruitt), Nancy (Randy Talbert), Natalie (David Hatton) and Andy Pruitt; her sisters, Ruby Atkinson and Billie Rigsby; her grandchildren, Matthew, Skylar, Hunter, Blake, Randi Jo, Madison, Austin, Brett, Katie, Zack, Kaitlynn, Nathan and Ethan; and her great grandchildren, Liam and Kade. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Funeral Home - Midtown (1661 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery South (2545 E Holmes Rd, Memphis, TN 38118).
