It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Hughes Cathey (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Downing. He is survived by: his wife Becky Cathey; his children, Jennifer Sturm and Chad Cathey of California; and his grandsons, Logan and Tyler Sturm.
Due to the pandemic we are currently in his family has chosen to have no services and a private burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, all memorials can be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House or any charity of donor's choice.
