James Morgan Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2020, at the age of 92, James Morgan Jr. (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mammie Morgan and James Morgan, Sr.; his siblings, Spencer Morgan, Charles Medlin and Ruth Edwards; and his children, James L. Morgan, III, Robert Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Richard Morgan, Tracy Blevins, Marty Blevins and Brenda Baker. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He also was a long time member and deacon at Greenlaw Baptist church, and helped lay the foundation when it was built 66 years ago and became a member 50 years ago.
