She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Atkins and Jessie Atkins; and her husband Joseph H. Walker (Buck). She is survived by: her children, Joseph H. Walker II (Wendy) and Jacque Higdon (Darrell); her sisters, Doris Prentice of Chambersburg, PA and Pauline Godfrey of Denham Springs, LA; her grandsons, Kevin Higdon (Katie), Sean Walker and Patrick Walker; and her great grandchildren, Alice Higdon and Walker Higdon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Faith Baptist Church or The Trezevant Foundation.
