He was predeceased by: his parents, Austria Cummings and Frank Cummings; his wife Joy Charylene Cummings; and his son-in-law James Bursi, Sr.. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jennifer Campbell, Jessica Lambert and James Bursi, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Andre V. Campbell, Jr., Kiara M. Campbell and Adrienne N. Campbell.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be sent to http://www.legacy.com for the reforestation program in Joe's name.
