He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Rainey of Barton, MS and John Rainey of Cayce, MS; his siblings, Mattie Smith of Collierville, TN, Martha Morris of Memphis, TN, Robert Rainey of Barton, TN and Bill Rainey of Mt. Pleasant; and his granddaughter Kenzie Gibbs (Justin).
