He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Bond and Katherine "Kitty" Carter; his stepmother Velma Bond; his children, Terri and Jerry Yut; and his siblings, Lawrence Bond, Sampson Bond, Charles Bond and John Henry "Pug" Bond.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Julius Bond II and Jennifer Bond Riggenbach (Jim); his grandchildren, Madeline, Naia and Marcus; and his siblings, Margie Staten, Zilma Bond, Ardell Bond, Saul Bond, Lorenzo Bond and Callie Barnes. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
