It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Donnell Chandler of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Lee Williams and John Lee Chandler, Sr. of Memphis, TN.; his son Christopher Gates; his brothers, John Lee Chandler, Jr. and Walter Lee Bean; his stepfather Albert Bean; his granddaughter Amiya Ajanee Braxton; and his close friend Maudie Bell Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Braxton (Charles) of Atlanta, GA and Elvin Chandler of Saltillo, MS; his wife Katherine Chandler of Tupelo, MS; and his siblings, Albert Wayne Bean, Jr. (Carolyn) of Pontotoc, MS, Darren Bean of Pontotoc, MS and Darla Reed (James) of Houlka, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
