She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Matthews and Cecil Matthews; her husband John McKernan; her son Colin Ackerman (Sabrina); her grandchildren, Mitchell, Andrew and Hadley; her stepdaughter Bridget Brogan (Matt); her children, Ella and Jack Brogan; her nephew Frederick Matthews III; her cousin Elizabeth Leighton; and her brother Frederick Matthews II.
