She was predeceased by : her parents, Minnie Rakestraw Brassfield and Ernest J. Brassfield (James H. Todd); her son James D. "Jim" Todd; and her siblings, Wardell Brassfield, G. S. "Red" Brassfield and Hazel Brassfield Smith.
She is survived by : her granddaughter Christy Keaton (Mickey); and her great grandchildren, Mick, Mallory and AJ Keaton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Relay for Life for the American cancer society.
