It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Sennett Sammons (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernard A. Sennett and Neomie Arnoult Sennett; her husband George W. Sammons; her children, Susan Burrow, George (Phyllis), Jack (Jennifer) and Scott (Michele); her grandchildren, Clark, Hughes Burrow, Arthur, Emily Sammons, Jack Jr. and Neely Sammons; her son Arthur Hughes Sammons; and her son-in-law John Burrow. She was also cherished by four great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid virus, there will only be a private graveside service for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Jude Hospital, St Agnes Academy or Regional One Medical Hospital will be appreciated.
